The Experience

Before You Go

Arrive with dry layers

Mountain nights get cold; pack a warm midlayer and a compressed down jacket for camp evenings.

Hydrate and filter

Bring 1.5–2 liters and a lightweight filter or tablets—tap water is not guaranteed on trail.

Sturdy footwear

Choose grippy, ankle-supporting boots for rocky creek crossings and short uphill hikes.

Pack a headlamp

Camps are active after dark—bring a headlamp for late-night tasks and campsite safety.
